AWIS PREFORM: Case Study Slip Incident Mooroolbark Urban Fire Station Someone had painted the kerbs with paint to identify a potential hazard. The problem was that the painted surface had become a dangerous slip hazard, A couple of Firefighters slipped on the painted surface and sustained a serious injuries. AWIS was consulted and suggested using AWIS Preform on the top of the painted Kerbs. AWIS Preform is available in many colours and contains a 70/30 Grit bead mix. This 70/30 mix provides anti skid and retro reflectivity of a night. AWIS Preform is fully approved for use on trafficable area’s.
